Indiana improved to 19-2, 7-1 in the Big Ten with the win and has now won four straight since a loss to Wisconsin on Jan. 15.
The Hoosiers' entire starting lineup scored in double figures, led by 19 points and 11 rebounds from Cody Zeller. Christian Watford was 4-of-5 from three to account for 12 of his 17 points.
Up 47-27 at halftime, the Hoosiers refused to hold back, outscoring Purdue by another 17 points in the second half. Overall, Indiana was maybe helped most by its discipline. The Hoosiers were 19-of-20 from the foul line and turned the ball over just eight times.
For Purdue, it was a different story. A.J. Hammons' 30 points was exactly half of the team's scoring and the Boilermakers turned it over 18 times, limiting their opportunities. They were also outrebounded, 34-23.
Purdue is now 11-10 overall and 4-4 in Big Ten play.
