The North Carolina Tar Heels might be without a big contributor Thursday night when they take on the Miami Hurricanes. Junior guard Leslie McDonald could be sitting out because of a knee injury, according to the Associated Press. Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams categorized the injury as a "tweak" and said McDonald wasn't able to participate in Tuesday's practice.
Leslie McDonald injury: UNC junior guard could miss game against Miami
The team wouldn’t specify which knee McDonald injured.

Although it’s unknown which knee McDonald injured, one would certainly be worse than the other. The Memphis, Tenn. native redshirted last year after tearing his ACL and injuring the meniscus in his right knee before the 2011-2012 season.
McDonald has come off the bench in all 14 of the Tar Heels’ games so far this season. In 17.9 minutes per game, he’s averaging 8.4 points and is second on the team in three-point shooting percentage, hitting 43.1 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. The Tar Heels should be fine depth-wise should McDonald miss the game; 10 players for the Tar Heels average double-digit minutes a night.
