Chane Behanan has been suspended "indefinitely" by Lousiville for violating an unspecified university policy and is not expected to be with the team during the suspension, senior associate athletic director Kenny Klein announced. The Cardinals will be without the junior until December at the earliest, though Rick Pitino has stated that he "doubts" Behanan will be back then, according to Jody Demling of Cardinal Authority.
Louisville suspends F Chane Behanan ‘indefinitely’ for violating university policy
According to Rick Pitino, the star junior won’t return until mid-December, at the earliest.

Behanan averaged 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last season with the Cardinals and was considered a key returning player for the 2013 NCAA champions.
Pitino has also clarified that it was “multiple” things that led to the decision to suspend Behanan and they will not discuss the specifics. Pitino did not outright state that he will not be back, but said the university had already set up a situation for him to return and it was already violated.
