Jahlil Okafor, Tyus Jones, Cliff Alexander each to announce college plans Friday

Three of the top five recruits in the country are lined up to make some coaches very happy on Friday.

Guy Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Jahlil Okafor, Cliff Alexander and Tyus Jones, three of the top prospects in the class of 2014, have all announced that they will make their college decisions on Friday, CBS Sports reported on Monday.

Alexander, ranked No. 3 by 247 Sports, had already set the date for his announcement, and Okafor and Jones tweeted on Monday that they were joining the party. Okafor is ranked No. 1 and Jones No. 5 by 247 Sports.

If Okafor and Jones follow through with their stated desire to play together in college, they will make one coach very happy and likely launch that school to the top of the class recruiting rankings for 2014. The rumblings throughout the college landscape are that Okafor and Jones will land at either Duke or at Kansas.

Alexander has tweeted intentions of being a package deal as well with Jaquan Lyle, who is ranked No. 22 by 247 Sports. Alexander has Kansas, Illinois, DePaul and Memphis on his final list.

After Friday, four of the top five recruits in the class of 2014 will be spoken for, with center Myles Turner still undecided.
