The Ohio State Buckeyes used a balanced scoring attack to win an in-state game against the Ohio Bobcats, 79-69, on Tuesday night.
Ohio State vs. Ohio final score: Aaron Craft leads Buckeyes to win, 79-69
The Ohio Bobcats went on a run in the second half but could not overcome the Buckeyes.

Four Buckeyes scored in double-digits, but poor shooting almost doomed the winning effort. Ohio State was well on its way to a blowout win when the Bobcats went on an 11-3 run down the stretch to make things interesting. Ultimately, it was too little, too late for the Bobcats and the Buckeyes held on for the win.
Aaron Craft led the Buckeyes with 18 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Amir Williams chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Buckeyes mustered enough offense for the win. The Buckeyes shot 40.9 percent from the field and were 5-of-18 from the three-point line. As is the tendency of teams adjusting to the rule changes at the beginning of the season, the Buckeyes were able to make up for the poor shooting from the field by drawing a lot of fouls. They hit 38-of-51 from the line.
Junior Bobcats guard Stevie Taylor and senior guard Nick Kellogg led all scorers with 21 points apiece. The Bobcats hung with the Buckeyes in almost every statistical aspect of the game, but the fouls forced Ohio to go to its bench. Four Bobcats fouled out of the game and the team was whistled for 34 in total.
