Nik Stauskas took over down the stretch and led Michigan to a win over FSU, which led by double-digits for most of the afternoon.

In overtime, the Wolverines seemed to convert on every possession. They took a five-point lead, but Ian Miller hit a three-pointer from the corner to cut the deficit to two points with 5 seconds remaining. After Michigan missed two free throws on the other end, FSU had one final chance. A half-court shot went long as the final buzzer sounded.
To force overtime, Stauskas hit two free throws after being fouled with 48 seconds left in the second half to cut the Seminoles’ lead to two points, Bookert missed a three-point attempt as Florida State struggled with Michigan’s zone defense, and the Wolverines had the ball with 11.1 seconds left. Stauskas drove in to tie the game out of a timeout and Miller accidentally stepped out of bounds on next possession, giving the Wolverines a chance to win the game with 2.2 seconds left. McGary missed, but the momentum had clearly shifted.
McGary finished with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Stauskas led all scorers with 26 points. Derrick Walton Jr. did a little bit of everything, scoring 15 points, dishing out six assists and bringing down four rebounds.
