Wisconsin vs. Saint Louis final score: Badgers hand Billikens first loss, 63-57
The Badgers advanced to the championship round of their division in the Cancun Challenge.

Junior guard Traevon Jackson led the Badgers with 16 points and Frank Kaminksy added 12 as Wisconsin played its standard style of ball, generally low scoring with lots of solid defense.
The Badgers jumped out to an eight-point lead at halftime, and led by 10 with less than three minutes remaining. A few missed free throws within the last couple of minutes of the game allowed the Billikens to cut the lead to five, but they snapped out of the charity stripe funk to close out the game.
Rob Loe led Saint Louis with 15 points as the Billikens fought hard on the offensive glass to overcome a poor shooting affair. Saint Louis shot 32.8 percent from the field and went 4-for-15 from the three-point line. Jordair Jett and Michael McCall, the Billikens' second- and third-leading scorers, both struggled from the field, combining for 10 points.
