The rich got richer on Wednesday as three top 10 teams added to their win total with No. 1 Arizona, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Wisconsin remaining undefeated. The Wildcats had the best caliber of opponent, but New Mexico State wasn't able to deal with the physicality of Arizona's frontcourt. Brandon Ashley and Kaleb Tarczewski combined for 29 points on 10-of-12 shooting.
College basketball scores: Top 10 teams stay unbeaten as Arizona, Ohio State and Wisconsin cruise
All three teams stayed unbeaten Wednesday, with Arizona winning its first game as the new AP No. 1.
OSU and Wisconsin enjoyed home games against Bryant and Milwaukee, blowing past their mid-major opponents. The Buckeyes got 18 from Lenzelle Smith Jr. and the Badgers won behind the hot shooting of Ben Brust.

No. 1 Arizona 74, New Mexico State 48: The Wildcats played like the best team in the country, outrebounding the Aggies 31-19. Four Arizona players finished in double figures, with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scoring 12 points off the bench. The Wildcats will now take their unbeaten mark to Ann Arbor Saturday to take on a Michigan team that already has three losses.
No. 3 Ohio State 86, Bryant 48: The Buckeyes were never in danger of losing their perfect mark against Bryant. Lenzelle Smith Jr. sot 6-of-9 on his way 19 points to lead the way for Ohio State. The 38-point win was their ninth on the season, their best start since the 2010-2011 team took a 24-0 mark into February. North Dakota State will be the next team to attempt to give Thad Matta’s team a mark in the loss column.
No. 4 Wisconsin 78, Milwaukee 52: The Badgers have taken their place among the elite teams in the country. One of three Big Ten teams in the top 5, Wisconsin had no problem with in-state opponent Milwaukee. Shooting over 50 percent, Bo Ryan’s team led from the from the first TV timeout onward. With an easy schedule to close out the year, Wisconsin should ride into 2014 with an unblemished record.
North Dakota State 73, Notre Dame 69: The only major upset of the day, North Dakota State handed Notre Dame their third loss of the season. Marshall Bjorklund dropped 26 for the Bison, who overcame a pair of late threes by Pat Connaughton to hang on for the win. The Irish have been one of the most disappointing teams in the country, now holding losses to two small schools. Notre Dame lost to Indiana State in November.
BYU 100, Prairie View A&M 52: The Cougars rebounded from their loss to UMass with a shellacking of Prairie View. BYU sank 10 three-pointers and shot over 61.4 percent from the field in the rout. Tyler Haws made four of those threes on to his way to 19 points.
Penn State 68, Duquesne 59: The Nittany Lions overwhelmed Duquesne, holding the Dukes to 27 percent shooting while blocking 13 of their shots. Guard Allen Roberts led Penn State in scoring, dropping 15 points.
