Colorado vs. Elon final score: Buffaloes outmuscle Elon, 80-63
Colorado overcame 27 points from Phoenix guard Sebastian Koch to improve to 10-1 on the season.

Elon managed to hang around for a while, but Spencer Dinwiddie scored 10 points down the stretch in the first half to propel a 20-8 CU run that pushed the Buffaloes' lead from 21-18 to 41-26 at the break. Dinwiddie led his squad with 17 as Elon had no answer for the Buffaloes in the paint. Colorado pulled down 14 offensive rebounds and shot 46 free throws, a testament to the work of forwards Xavier Johnson and Josh Scott. The two combined for 28 rebounds, with six of them coming on the offensive glass.
With the win, Colorado improves to 10-1 on the season. The Buffaloes will play No. 7 Oklahoma State and Georgia to close out the non-conference season. The Cowboys should be wary, as Colorado has already knocked off Kansas in an upset win earlier this month.
