The 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament is set to be held Nov. 26-30, 2014, and already has confirmed the eight schools that will be participating. The field is expected to be huge, with University of North Carolina, UCLA, Georgetown University, University of Florida, Butler University, University of Wisconsin, University of Oklahoma, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham lined up to battle in the Bahamas, according to a news release from the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort.

Atlantis also has reached a three-year agreement with ESPN to air the 12-game tournament, along with current partner AXS TV, according to the release.

Villanova won the 2013 Battle 4 Atlantis in stunning fashion. They upset the No. 2 ranked Kansas Jayhawks and went on to a thrilling final against Iowa that went into overtime. This will be the fourth Battle 4 Atlantis tournament since it began in 2011. Previous winners also include Harvard and Duke.
