No. 7 Arizona vs. California final score: Allen Crabbe’s 31 boost Cal over Arizona

Arizona squandered its outright Pac-12 lead with the loss.

The No. 7 Arizona Wildcats let a halftime lead slip, and the California Golden Bears rallied to pick up a Pac 12 road upset with a 77-69 win Sunday night.

Allen Crabbe scored 31 points for the Golden Bears on Sunday, including 19 in the second half. He was 12 of 15 from the field and 4 of 7 from 3-point range. He also had seven rebounds and five assists for the 14-9 Golden Bears. Justin Cobbs also had 21 points.

The Golden Bears won the game Sunday on its offensive efficiency, shooting 58.8 percent from the floor and 6 of 13 from 3-point range. They also hit 11 of their 12 free-throw attempts.

Arizona was 39.3 percent from the floor and had 17 turnovers, but it stayed in the game until late. Mark Lyons led the Wildcats with 16 points.

With the loss Arizona fell into a three-way tie for first in the Pac-12. Both the Oregon Ducks and the UCLA Bruins have 8-3 conference records alongside Arizona.
