The No. 22 Memphis Tigers exploded in the second half Wednesday for a 93-71 home win over the Central Florida Knights.

Joe Jackson led the Tigers’ charge Wednesday. He finished with 21 points, which led all scorers, and 15 of his points came in the second half. He was 7-of-8 from the floor after halftime and had eight assists in the second half alone. He finished with 10 dimes in 33 minutes.
Geron Johnson also had a big game for Memphis, finishing with 19 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
The Tigers moved to 10-0 in conference play and grew their lead over the second-place Southern Miss Golden Eagles, who also won Wednesday, to two games. The two teams play in Memphis on Feb. 23.
Memphis’ halftime lead was 42-36, but its 51 second-half points proved too much for Central Florida. The Tigers were 20-of-31 from the floor in the second.
The Knights were outrebounded, 40-22, on Wednesday. Isaiah Sykes was the only UCF player to have more than four rebounds. He had six.
