Colorado State senior guard Dorian Green drilled a three-pointer in the final minute of the game, then followed it up with an outstanding finish that resulted in a three-point play to lead the Rams past the San Diego State Aztecs, 66-60, on Wednesday night at Moby Arena.

Colorado State used a strong second half to take care of a tough San Diego State team at home.

Green was spectacular in the final minute of the game, but he also led the Rams (20-4, 7-2 MWC) with a team-high and game-high 16 points. He also added six assists.
Chase Tapley led the way for San Diego State (18-6, 6-4 MWC) and tied Green to lead all scorers with 16 points of his own while adding three steals and three rebounds. Sophomore forward J.J. O'Brien added 12 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Aztecs.
The game was tied at the half, but Colorado State did the little things well, including win the battle of the boards by a margin of 38-28 for the game and making six more free throws than SDSU.
The win marked Colorado State’s first victory as a ranked team since 1954.
