No. 11 Butler vs. Fordham final score: Bulldogs bounce back with win
Butler didn’t run away with it Saturday, but they all count the same.

Butler needed the win, after a midweek loss to the Charlotte 49ers, to get back among the top teams in the Atlantic 10. The Bulldogs now stand at 8-3 in the conference standings, tied with the La Salle Explorers for third place. The Virginia Commonwealth Rams stand alone in first at 8-2, and the Saint Louis Billikens are 7-2. Both teams play their games Saturday night.
Clarke, who shot 6-of-16, was one of three Bulldogs in double figures Saturday. Roosevelt Jones finished with 13 points and eight rebounds, and center Andrew Smith had 12 points.
Chris Gaston led the Rams with 19 points off the bench.
Neither team shot particularly well Saturday; Butler led with a 38.5 field goal percentage, and Fordham shot 38.3 percent.
