No. 19 New Mexico went on a 14-4 run to close out Boise State on Saturday night.

New Mexico (22-4, 9-2 MWC) shot just 34.7 percent for the game and was a stunningly bad 10-of-32 on two-pointers. However, the Lobos did go 7-of-17 from three-point land and outscored the Broncos 19-5 at the charity stripe.
New Mexico led throughout most of the game, but Boise State (16-9, 4-7 MWC) tied the game at 46-46 with just over five minutes remaining. The Broncos then went cold, going scoreless for nearly five minutes as the Lobos closed the game on a 14-4 run.
Cameron Bairstow's free throws put New Mexico ahead for good, and he led the team with 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench. The Lobos now hold a one-half game lead over Colorado State in the Mountain West Conference.
Derrick Marks was the only member of Boise State to put forth a good performance, scoring 19 points on 8-of-15 shooting and also adding seven rebounds.
