No. 1 seed Middle Tennessee stretched its winning streak to 17 games with an 81-66 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday in a 2013 Sun Belt Conference quarterfinal matchup. The Blue Raiders (28-4) will now face No. 4 seed Florida International on Sunday, with the winner advancing to the championship game Monday night.

Middle Tennessee, owners of the nation’s longest winning streak, advanced to the semifinals of the 2013 Sun Belt Conference tournament with an easy win on Saturday.


On the other side of the bracket, No. 6 seed Western Kentucky upset No. 3 seed South Alabama, 62-59, to advance to the semifinals. The Hilltoppers will face No. 2 seed Arkansas State on Sunday in the conference’s other semifinal contest.
