2013 Summit League Tournament schedule and bracket: South Dakota State awaits semifinal opponent

No. 1 seed South Dakota State easily handled IUPUI on Saturday, winning 66-49, and the Jackrabbits now await a semifinal opponent in the 2013 Summit League conference tournament.

Thanks to 20 points from star guard Nate Wolters and a double-double from Tony Fiegen, No. 1 seed South Dakota State easily defeated IUPUI on Saturday in a quarterfinal contest of the 2013 Summit League conference tournament. The Jackrabbits now await a semifinal opponent, determined by Sundays's matchup between No. 5 seed IPFW and No. 4 seed Oakland.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 seed Western Illinois also advanced, and waits on the winner of No. 3 North Dakota State and No. 6 UMKC. The semifinal games will be played on Monday, with the title game on Tuesday.

Sunday, March 10:

No. 4 Oakland Golden Grizzlies vs. No. 5 IPFW Mastodons, 7 p.m.

No. 3 North Dakota State Bison vs. No. 6 UMKC Kangaroos, 9:30 p.m.

Monday, March 11: Semifinals.

No. 1 South Dakota State Jackrabbits vs. Oakland/Fort Wayne, 7 p.m.

No. 2 Western Illinois Fighting Leathernecks vs. North Dakota State/Kansas City, 9:30 p.m.

Tuesday, March 12: Championship game, 9 p.m. (televised on ESPN2)
