The Big Sky Tournament bracket was set on Saturday with the defending champion Montana Grizzlies claiming the top seed. The Grizzlies went 19-1 in conference play and earn the only bye in seven team tournament.

The Montana Grizzlies look to defend their Big Sky championship as the top seed in the tournament.


The bottom four teams, Sacramento State, Eastern Washington, Portland State, and Idaho State were all eliminated from the playoffs with the four worst records in the conference. Montana gets the only bye and will play the lowest remaining seed after the first round.
Montana’s only in-conference loss came to Weber State, who finished second in the Big Sky with a 18-2 conference record. Weber State split the season series with Montana, with each team winning at their home court. As the top seed, the Grizzlies get to host the tournament.
