Despite losing their regular season finale to Baylor on Saturday, the Kansas Jayhawks enter the Big 12 Tournament as the top seed. The Jayhawks tied with Kansas State for the regular season title with 14-4 conference records, but Kansas won both regular season meetings between the two schools.
Big 12 Tournament 2013 bracket: Kansas takes top seed
The Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats split the BIg 12 regular season title, but the Jayhawks get the top seed in the tournament thanks to a regular season sweep of their in-state rivals.

With a strong performance in the Big 12 Tournament, Kansas could earn a one-seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Jayhawks fought through a three-game losing streak at the beginning of February to win seven straight before losing on Saturday.
While Kansas is fighting for a top-seed, some other Big 12 teams will be playing to get off the bubble and secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The Oklahoma Sooners are an 11-seed in the latest bracket projections, while Iowa State is a 12-seed and Baylor is currently among the first four out.
