The top-seeded Northeastern Huskies found themselves down by as many as 24 points in their Colonial Athletic Association semifinal against George Mason Sunday, but the Huskies managed to overcome the deficit and won, 69-67, on a layup by Jonathan Lee with three seconds left.

Northeastern and James Madison will play in the Colonial Athletic Association final after winning close semifinal games Sunday.


Lee, a senior captain for the Huskies, finished with 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Joel Smith also scored 14 for Northeastern and Demetrius Pollard had 13 points.
Northeastern will face James Madison, the tournament's three seed, at 7 p.m. Monday. James Madison beat No. 2 seed Delaware, 58-57, Sunday. A.J. Davis scored 16 points for James Madison and Devon Moore scored 14.
