Just one game stands between two teams and the Summit League championship. On Tuesday night, North Dakota State and South Dakota State will square off at the Sioux Falls Arena for a chance to play in the NCAA Tournament.

The winner of North Dakota State and South Dakota State will head to the NCAA Tournament next week.


No. 1 seed South Dakota St. has had little trouble up until this point. They knocked off IUPUI and IPFW by a combined 33 points in the quarterfinals and semifinals. No. 3 seed North Dakota St. has had similar success, defeating UMKC and Western Illinois by double figures.
In the regular season, SDSU knocked off NDSU by a score of 69-53. After trailing by six at halftime, the Jackrabbits dominated the second half, outscoring the Bison 38-16. Nate Wolters was the leading scorer with 26 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Tipoff for Tuesday’s championship game is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. It will be televised by ESPN2 and streamed online through ESPN3.
