Things are starting to heat up in the Garden, as they always do for the Big East tournament.

Wednesday is the first full day of games in the Big East tournament, kicking off at noon ET at Madison Square Garden with the Providence Friars and the Cincinnati Bearcats. Following that game, Seton Hall will play Syracuse. The Villanova Wildcats and St. John's Storm kick off the night session at 7 p.m. ET. The following game will feature the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the winner of Tuesday's game between the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the DePaul Blue Demons.
The tournament's top four seeds—No. 1 Georgetown Hoyas, No. 2 Louisville Cardinals, No. 3 Marquette Golden Eagles and No. 4 Pittsburgh Panthers—have byes until Thursday's quarterfinals.
This is the final year of the Big East conference as it’s currently known. The Catholic 7 are retaining naming rights to the Big East and are also retaining the postseason lease on Madison Square Garden.
