Mountain West Tournament 2013 results and bracket: Wyoming advances to quarterfinals

Wyoming defeated Nevada to advance to the quarterfinals. Four games are scheduled for the MWC Tournament throughout Wednesday.

The 2013 Mountain West Tournament began Tuesday night with Wyoming winning a play-in game against Nevada. The Cowboys ended up coming out on top with an 85-81 win to keep their season live.

With the win, Wyoming advances to the quarterfinals. The Cowboys will take on No. 1 seed New Mexico at 9:30 p.m. ET Wednesday evening.

As for the other quarterfinals matchups, No. 3 UNLV and No. 6 Air Force will kick off the action at 3 p.m. Once that game wraps up, No. 2 Colorado State and No. 7 Fresno State will play at 5:30 p.m. In the nightcap, No. 4 San Diego State will take on No. 5 Boise State at midnight.

The entire MWC Tournament is being played at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Fans can catch all the quarterfinals and semifinals televised live on CBS Sports Network. The championship will be aired on CBS. Here is a look at the full tournament bracket.

First Round - March 12

No. 8 Wyoming defeats No. 9 Nevada

Quarterfinals - March 13

3 p.m.: No. 3 UNLV vs. No. 6 Air Force (Game 2)
5:30 p.m.: No. 2 Colorado State vs. No. 7 Fresno State (Game 3)
9:30 p.m.: No. 1 New Mexico vs. Wyoming (Game 4)
Midnight: No. 4 San Diego State vs. No. 5 Boise State (Game 5)

Semifinals - March 15

9 p.m.: Winner of Game 2 vs. Winner of Game 3
11:30 p.m.: Winner of Game 4 vs. Winner of Game 5

Championship - March 16

6 p.m.: Semifinals Winners
