2013 Atlantic 10 Tournament: Top-seeded St. Louis cruises into semifinals
The 16th-ranked team in the country never trailed in a leisurely Friday afternoon Atlantic 10 quarterfinal win.

Charlotte, who beat Richmond in a controversial finish on Thursday, now awaits its postseason fate while Saint Louis advances to play either Butler or La Salle in Saturday’s semifinals. That game will tip at 1:30 p.m.
Dwayne Evans was red-hot from the floor, shooting 8-9 and finishing with 25 points and nine rebounds. He was also a perfect 9-9 from the foul line. Friday marks six straight games that Evans, the team's leading scorer, has had at least 16 points for the Billikens.
Saint Louis never trailed and took its first double-digit lead just over ten minutes in when Kwamain Mitchell hit a three on a pass from Mike McCall Jr. McCall joined Mitchell and Rob Loe with four assists each.
And while the Billikens were passing and scoring with ease, Charlotte was having a tough time just getting shots up. The 49ers turned it over 13 times in the first half, leading to 16 points for Saint Louis.
The 49ers were never able to get closer than eight points after that, but managed to hang around for much of the second half behind a double-double Chris Braswell. He scored 20 points and pulled down a game-high ten rebounds.
