The 2013 Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament finished up its quarterfinal round on Friday. Nearly all the teams left have a shot at dancing next week, but there were still a couple of bubble teams hoping to boost their resumes before Selection Sunday. Let’s take a look at Friday’s action.

The Atlantic 10 tournament is down to just four teams left after quarterfinal action on Friday.

No. 1 Saint Louis Billikens 72, No. 9 Charlotte 49ers 55
There would be no end-game shenanigans to bail out Charlotte this time. Saint Louis stormed out to a 39-28 lead and never let the 49ers get back into it. Dwayne Evans led the way with 25 points and nine rebounds, and Cody Ellis came off the bench to score 13 points. The Billikens also played vicious defense, getting 11 steals and forcing 20 turnovers.
Saint Louis faces Butler on Saturday.
No. 5 Butler Bulldogs 69, No. 4 La Salle Explorers 58
Five Butler players scored double digit points and the Bulldogs out-rebounded La Salle, 37-22, to put a dent in the Explorers' bubble. La Salle kept it close for the first half, but a 11-2 run at the start of the second half all but sealed the victory. Rotnei Clarke led Butler with 14 points and Kameron Woods grabbed nine rebounds.
Butler faces Saint Louis on Saturday.
No. 2 VCU Rams 82, No. 10 Saint Joseph’s Hawks 79
VCU held off a late-game rally by St. Joseph's to take the victory. The Rams shot 50 percent from the field and sank 11 of 28 three-pointers. Four VCU players had double digit points, led by Treveon Graham with 17.
The Rams take on Massachusetts Saturday.
No. 6 Massachusetts Minutemen 79, No. 3 Temple Owls 74
UMass pulled off the first big upset of the A-10 tournament, upending Temple's bubble prospects and keeping their own tourney hopes alive. Chaz Williams racked up 28 points and six assists, while both Freddie Riley and Terrell Vinson had 15. The major difference of the game came on the glass -- UMass out-rebounded Temple, 35-22.
The Minutemen faces VCU on Saturday.
