The Big Sky semifinals concluded on Friday, and the championship game is now set. Only one team from this conference is getting into the NCAA tournament next week, and it will be whoever wins the game on Saturday. There’s plenty of exciting basketball left with every game being “win or go home”. Let’s recap Friday’s action:
2013 Big Sky Tournament results and bracket: Montana, Weber State to face off in final round
The Big Sky championship round is now set. Montana and Weber State will fight for the NCAA automatic bid.


No. 2 Weber State Wildcats 76, No. 3 North Dakota Fighting Sioux 74
Davion Berry scored 25 points and Scott Bamforth added 13 as the Wildcats came from behind to get the victory. Down, 72-69, with 2:05 left, Weber State had a 7-2 run at the very end. A Kyle Tresnak jumper with just 19 seconds left put the Wildcats ahead for good. They face Montana in the final round Saturday.
No. 1 Montana Grizzlies 70, No. 5 Northern Colorado Bears 56
The Grizzlies cruise into the final round with few, if any, hiccups. Will Cherry led the way with 21 points, and Kareem Jamar wasn't far behind with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Montana shot 46.6 percent from the field and held the Bears to just 3 of 16 in three point shots.
