C-USA basketball tournament 2013 schedule and bracket: Top seeds Memphis and Southern Miss face in championship game

Conference-USA escapes without upsets, as no. 1 seed Memphis and no. 2 seed Southern Mississippi both advance to the conference tournament.

Move along, no upsets to see here. No. 1 seed Memphis and no. 2 seed Southern Mississippi will square off in the Conference-USA tournament championship on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Memphis moved past Tulsa behind Chris Crawford's eight three pointers. He finished with 30 points on the evening as the Tigers won 85-74.

For Southern Mississippi, its path to the championship game led to a 85-67 crushing of UTEP, as Dwayne Davis put up 27 points in the Conference-USA tournament semifinal game.

The Tigers had no problem with Southern Miss in the regular season, beating them 89-76 on Feb. 9 and 89-73 on Feb. 23. Memphis is 16-0 in conference play this season.
