The Alabama Crimson Tide bolstered their case for inclusion in the field of 68 with a 58-48 win over the Tennessee Volunteers, who are also on the bubble. SB Nation bracketologist Chris Dobbertean still has Alabama on the outside looking in—he has labeled the Tide as the fifth team out of the field right now—but that could change Saturday. Alabama plays the top-seeded Florida Gators in Saturday's first semifinal.
The Vanderbilt Commodores, playing just a few miles away from their campus at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, will continue to push forward with a semifinal match-up against the Ole Miss Rebels. Vanderbilt, now 16-16 on the year, scored one of the big upsets of Friday night with a 64-48 win over the Kentucky Wildcats that seemed to burst the Wildcats' bubble.

The Rebels still have work to do, simply because a loss to Vanderbilt would be devastating at this late stage. Just ask Kentucky.
The first semifinal tips off at 1 p.m. ET, while the second is tentatively set for 3 p.m. but depends on the finish of the first game. Both semifinals will be broadcast nationally on ABC. A full bracket can be found at the SEC’s official site.
