Halftime interviews are more of a chore for coaches and don’t provide a ton of insight anyway. They always unfold in a pretty similar fashion: A coach is chased down by a sideline reporter, then hurries through a few questions before rushing off to the locker room. They are coaches after all, and just want to get with their team in the locker room to make adjustments.
Bo Ryan isn’t interested in halftime interviews
Bo Ryan gave a halftime interview to Tracy Wolfson. Well, we think it was an interview. It was something

Bo Ryan gave the quintessential halftime interview with his “I don’t have time for this crap” answers. Tracy Wolfson wanted to glean some kind of insight -- anything, really -- and Ryan just wasn’t having it. The interview was a Bill Belichick “get this mic out of my face” special -- a polite way of saying “I don’t want to be here right now.”
I can’t really blame Ryan. He’s got a big matchup in front of him and was in the middle of a tight game. Tensions are high mid-game, even at halftime, and Ryan just wasn’t feeling it. He gave quick, basic answers, and at around the 15-second mark Wolfson decided this wasn’t going to work.
But dang, man. Cold as ice.
