NCAA Tournament 2013 schedule: Top-seeded Indiana tips on Friday

Indiana, the region’s top seed, still doesn’t know who its second-round opponent will be. That will be settled Wednesday, and the East schedule gets underway in earnest on Thursday.

The 2013 NCAA tournament bracket is set, and the schedule has been released. The teams of the East Region will begin play on Wednesday, when Long Island meets James Madison for the right to face top-seeded Indiana on Friday.

Indiana, which comes into the tournament with some high expectations, will be one of the last teams in the region to play its second-round game. There are four games in the East Region scheduled for this Thursday, and the other four will be played on Friday.

Here’s the complete schedule, including television information:

Wednesday

No. 16 Long Island vs. No. 16 James Madison (6:40 p.m. ET, truTV)

Thursday

No. 6 Butler vs. No. 11 Bucknell (12:40 p.m. ET, truTV)

No. 3 Marquette vs. No. 14 Davidson (3:10 p.m. ET, truTV)

No. 5 UNLV vs. No. 12 California (7:27 p.m. ET, truTV)

No. 4 Syracuse vs. No. 13 Montana (9:57 p.m. ET,truTV)

Friday

No. 8 N.C. State vs. No. 9 Temple (1:40 p.m. ET, TBS)

No. 2 Miami vs. No 15 Pacific (2:10 p.m. ET, TNT)

No. 1 Indiana vs. No. 16 Long Island or No. 16 James Madison (4:10 p.m. ET, TBS)

No. 7 Illinois vs. No. 10 Colorado (4:40 p.m. ET, TNT)
