2013 NCAA Tournament schedule: Gonzaga top seed in wide open West

Former Cinderella Gonzaga landed the top seed in the West Region and will begin play on Thursday.

David Becker

The speculation is done and the 2013 NCAA Tournament bracket is here, with the First Four games beginning on Tuesday. In the West Region, one-time tournament Cinderella Gonzaga earned a No. 1 seed and will be the favorites to make it to Atlanta. The Zags begin their tournament on Thursday.

This is the highest ever seed for the Bulldogs; to reach the Final Four they will have to beat out No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 New Mexico, and No. 4 Kansas State, among some of the more dangerous low seeds in the tournament.
