The 2013 NCAA Tournament bracket was released on Sunday night and play will begin on Tuesday with the First Four. The South Region doesn’t get underway until Thursday, with most of the region, including top-seed Kansas, playing its first game on Friday.

Big 12 champion Kansas earned the top seed in the South Region and will play one of the very last games in the round of 64 on Friday night.


Kansas earned the top-seed in the South, but there are plenty of dangerous teams looking to knock off the Jayhawks. Georgetown earned the No. 2 seed with the nation's best all-around player in Otto Porter. Florida, the top-ranked team in the kenpom.com ratings, is the No. 3 seed and Michigan, with Naismith candidate Trey Burke, is the No. 4 seed in the region.
