The four No. 1 seeds are the Louisville Cardinals, Gonzaga Bulldogs, Indiana Hoosiers and Kansas Jayhawks, all fine choices by the committee.
Many experts believe that the best bracket is the Midwest, which features four top teams in Louisville, the Duke Blue Devils, Michigan State Spartans and Saint Louis Billikens. With Rick Pitino, Tom Izzo and Mike Krzyzewski all coaching in the region, it's hard to make an argument any other way.
This may be the most wide open tourney we have ever seen, with no dominant team coming in, Last year, the Kentucky Wildcats were the odds on favorite to dominate the competition and ultimately did so behind Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
