No. 1 Indiana vs. Iowa final score: Zeller paces Hoosiers in 73-60 win

Indiana may not be No. 1 in the country for much longer, but the Hoosiers were able to get back on track Saturday night with a 73-60 win over Iowa.

Cody Zeller had a game-high 22 points as the Indiana Hoosiers got back on track Saturday night with a 73-60 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes in Bloomington.

Following a loss earlier in the week to Minnesota, Indiana needed a win to avoid falling into a virtual tie with Michigan State for first place in the Big Ten.

The Hoosiers limited Iowa to just 14 first half points and were never threatened after that. In addition to Zeller's typical offensive outburst, he also grabbed ten rebounds and blocked three shots on the way to picking up his 13th career double-double. Freshman Kevin Ferrell chipped in with 19 points and a team-high five assists.

The Hawkeyes, who will need to win their last two games to finish at .500 in the Big Ten, got 20 points from Roy Devyn Marble and 14 from Aaron White in the losing effort.

Neither team shot the ball well from beyond the arc, with Iowa going 1-13 and Indiana 2-14. But it was Iowa's 18 turnovers, 11 of which came on steals, that might have hurt the most. Victor Oladipo had four steals to lead the Indiana defense.

With just two games left in the regular season, the Hoosiers will now close out their schedule with a pair of contests against ranked teams. No. 16 Ohio State visits Bloomington on Tuesday, then Indiana travels to Ann Arbor to meet No. 4 Michigan a week from Sunday.
