The UCLA Bruins helped out their NCAA Tournament seeding Saturday night with a critical 74-69 win over the No. 11 Arizona Wildcats at Pauley Pavilion on Senior Night.

Freshman Kyle Anderson had 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists in yet another stellar performance for the Bruins, who have now won four in a row and completed a regular-season sweep of the Wildcats.

In a back-and-forth game, the Bruins provided some distance with a 12-0 run early in the second half. The Wildcats never regained the lead after that, as they could not counter UCLA’s 47 percent shooting and 41 percent mark from beyond the arc.

Arizona did, however, cut the deficit to three points with about a minute left on a pair of threes from Grant Jerrett, who finished the game 4-5 from long range. The Wildcats then had the ball with the shot clock turned off, but were unable to pull any closer.

Shabazz Muhammad eventually hit the free throws for UCLA that iced the game after pulling down a huge defensive rebound in the closing seconds. Muhammad finished with a team-high 18 points.

Jerrett had 14 points in the losing effort to lead Arizona, while Mark Lyons added 13 points.
