Charles Barkley wonders ‘where the hell’ Florida Gulf Coast is, calls Greg Gumbel old

Chuck gonna be Chuck.

USA TODAY Sports

Charles Barkley is having trouble speaking while he covers the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, but that hasn't stopped him from being his typical abrasive self. Barkley interviewed Florida Gulf Coast head coach Andy Enfield and guard Sherwood Brown during halftime of the Memphis-Michigan State game, and it led to some salty language.

Barkley showed his usual research acumen by first asking Enfield and Brown, “Where the hell is Florida Gulf Coast at?” Enfield took it in stride, describing their location as a beachy place with a lot of retirees, setting up Chuck’s next zinger.

The discussion turned away from Barkley and on some of FGCU’s amazing dunks from Friday. Before Greg Gumbel could send it to commercial, Chuck suggested he move to Florida to be with all the old people. Little did Barkley know, Gumbel already lives there. Full video below:
