The No. 9 Wichita St. Shockers are on the verge of toppling the No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs. They led for the majority of the first half and appeared to have the Zags on the ropes, but Gonzaga made a comeback to pull within single digits.
Wichita St. leading Gonzaga at halftime
Wichita St. used a crazy buzzer-beating shot to lead Gonzaga at halftime. Is our first No. 1 seed about to fall in the tournament?

That’s not the craziest part of the game, however. Take a look at this shot at the end of the first half:
Notice the clock on the backboard. Jake White made that tip-in with 0.1 seconds left. In a tournament devoid of buzzer-beater drama so far, this is the next best thing.
Gonzaga is shooting just 32.1 percent from the field and are 3-of-12 on three pointers. Meanwhile, the Shockers made 48.3 of their field goals and sank 7-of-14 from beyond the arc. After struggling with No. 16 seed Southern on Thursday and trailing in this game, the Zags are doing little to silence their critics.
