The 2013 National Invitation Tournament had only one game on Saturday, with the NCAA Tournament still in full force. Nobody at the NIT or ESPN wants to try counter-programming against the biggest sports event of the month.
NIT bracket 2013 results: Alabama moves on to quarterfinals
Alabama defeated Stanford to move on to the NIT quarterfinal round.

That said, there was still a second-round game to be played, and at the moment one team is set for the quarterfinal round. Let’s recap Saturday’s action:
No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide 66, No. 4 Stanford Cardinal 54
The Tide took control of this game early, going into halftime up 32-24, and they never looked back. Levi Randolph led Alabama with 16 points and got two steals. Retin Obasohan came off the bench to chip in 14 points, and Devonta Pollard hauled in eight rebounds.
The Tide will face either Maryland or Denver in the quarterfinal round.
