Ole Miss vs. La Salle: Game time, TV schedule for 2013 March Madness

A battle between a No. 12 and 13 seed will decide which team moves on to the Sweet 16.

USA TODAY Sports

Every March, it seems like there’s always a bizarre matchup or two in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. On Sunday, college hoops fans will be treated to a battle between 12-seeded Ole Miss and No. 13 seed La Salle.

The Rebels advanced to the third round with an upset win over the Wisconsin Badgers. Enigmatic guard Marshall Henderson was awful in the first half, but he kept shooting and found a way to will his team to victory. If Ole Miss hopes to win, Henderson will need to play consistently for 40 minutes instead of just down the stretch.

La Salle played one of the wilder games of the tournament thus far. They moved out to a big lead over four-seeded Kansas State, just to choke it away in the second half. They somehow fought back in the closing minutes though, sealing the deal with a late free throw and defensive stop.

The winner of this game advances to play the winner of Gonzaga versus Wichita State in the Sweet 16.

Start Time, TV Coverage: 7:40 p.m. ET, truTV

Location: Sprint Center, Kansas City, Mo.
