The top-seeded Indiana Hoosiers and No. 9 seed Temple Owls are locked in a good one with a bid to the Sweet 16 up for grabs. At the half, Temple leads by three points, 29-26, thanks to Khalif Wyatt.
Khalif Wyatt has Temple in 29-26 lead over Indiana at halftime
Wyatt’s 20 points in the first half has Temple in the hunt for pulling off what would be a huge upset.

Indiana controlled the tempo in the early going of the game, but the Owls were able to claw their way back in thanks to some sloppy offensive possessions from IU. Then, the Khalif Wyatt show began.
Wyatt has singlehandedly kept Temple in the game. The senior guard has scored an efficient 20 points, needing just 14 attempts to do so. Wyatt’s teammates have combined to score nine points. If he’s able to continue scoring at this rate, the Owls will really have a chance to knock off the Hoosiers.
Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller have been solid, yet unspectacular, on the offensive end for the Hoosiers. Both player of the year candidates have six points, as does sharpshooter Christian Watford. As a team, Indiana turned the ball over eight times in the first half.
The winner of this game moves on to face Syracuse in the Sweet 16 on March 29 in Indianapolis.
