The 2013 NIT Tournament has reached the quarterfinals, and on Tuesday night, top-seeded Alabama and No. 2 seed Maryland squared off in Tuscaloosa.

The score remained close throughout, but a late run from the Terrapins gave Maryland the 58-57 win. Alex Len led the way with 15 points and 13 rebounds. It was a hard-fought road victory for coach Mark Turgeon's squad, and now they'll move on to the semifinals to face the winner of Virginia and Iowa.

There are three quarterfinal matchups scheduled for Wednesday. The Cavaliers and Hawkeyes will kick things off at 7 p.m. ET. An hour later, top-seeded Southern Miss will welcome BYU, while at 9 p.m. ET, Baylor hosts Providence. The first and last game of the night will be televised on ESPN2, with Southern Miss and BYU playing on ESPNU.

Here is an updated look at the 2013 NIT Bracket. The semifinals and championship game will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
