B.J. Young declares for 2013 NBA Draft

A five-star recruit out of high school, Young spent just two season with the Razorbacks. In his last season, he led the team with 15.2 ppg and 3.4 apg. He also shot a poor 22.7 percent in 3-pointers and committed an average of 2.1 turnovers per game. Arkansas was thought to make a run at the NCAA Tournament in 2012-13, but they had another down year, finishing 19-13 and failing to make any postseason tournaments.

Despite the disappointing season, Young was one of the team’s few highlights, finishing on the All-SEC Second Team. At 6’3, 180 pounds, Goodman describes him as a “tweener guard” and believes he could be drafted early in the second round.
