Few teams have looked better through two NCAA Tournament games than the Midwest Region's No. 1 seed, the Louisville Cardinals, who will return to the court Friday night against No. 12 seed Oregon. Game-time is set for 7:15 p.m. ET and is the first of two regional semifinals which will be played in Indianapolis on Friday.

NCAA Tournament play will resume in the Midwest Region on Friday at 7:15 p.m. ET, when the top-seed Louisville Cardinals take on No. 12-seeded Oregon. The winner will advance to play the winner of Duke vs. Michigan State on Sunday.

For Louisville to notch another victory, it will start on the defensive end, where the Cardinals have played suffocating defense so far in this tournament. Louisville has held its first two opponents (North Carolina A&T and Colorado State) to an average of 52 points while also forcing a staggering 44 total turnovers. The Cardinals set an NCAA Tournament record with 20 steals in their Round of 64 win over the Aggies.
On the other side of the court, Oregon enters this match-up as one of the most surprising teams left in the NCAA Tournament field. The Pac-12 champion defeated the Midwest’s No. 5 seed, Oklahoma State, and No. 4 seed, St. Louis, to advance to Indianapolis.
For the Ducks to be victorious, they will also need a strong performance from center Arsalan Kazemi. The senior has totaled 33 rebounds through two NCAA Tournament games, the most of any player in the field.
The winner of this match-up will next play on Sunday against the winner of the other Midwest semifinal between Michigan State and Duke.
