Harrow’s transfer will mark the second time he has changed schools in three years.

Harrow’s father suffered a stroke prior to the 2012 basketball season, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Harrow has two years of eligibility remaining, and he will petition the NCAA for a hardship waiver to play immediately next year.
The transfer marks the second time in three years that Harrow will be changing schools. He was regarded as a five-star recruit by some scouting services when he signed with North Carolina State in 2010. After one year under Mark Gottfried, Harrow transferred to Kentucky. He sat out all of last year as UK made their national title run. In 2012-2013, Harrow averaged nearly 10 points, three rebounds and three assists a game.
The decision for Harrow to transfer should not come as a surprise for anyone close to the program. He did not quite live up to expectations in Lexington, and with highly-regarded recruits Andrew Harrison and Aaron Harrison committed to the Wildcats, it was time for a change.
