The Duke Blue Devils came out a bit flat following an emotional win against Miami this past weekend. Despite the Virginia Tech Hokies giving them everything they had, Ryan Kelly and the No. 3 Blue Devils pulled away in the second half to pick up the 85-57 win.

The Blue Devils came out a bit flat following their emotional win over Miami this past weekend, but another strong performance from Ryan Kelly ensured Duke would not fall victim to an upset.

Duke held just a three-point edge at halftime, but once the Blue Devils began pushing the tempo a bit, the Hokies were unable to do much on the defensive end. Duke moved out to a double-digit advantage early in the second half and never looked back.
Kelly, who was playing his second game since returning from a foot injury that kept him out nearly two months, led Duke with 18 points, five assists and nine rebounds. After scoring 36 points against the Hurricanes on Saturday, his well-rounded performance was a promising sign for coach Mike Krzyzewski and the training staff.
Seth Curry had his shooting stroke going on Tuesday night, hitting five of nine from behind the three-point arc on his way to 20 points. Quinn Cook added 14 points, while Mason Plumlee chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds.
Erick Green did everything in his power to keep Virginia Tech in the game, scoring a game-high 25 points. As a team, the Hokies shot just 38 percent from the field and 8-for-13 at the free throw line.
Next up for Duke is a road trip to North Carolina on Saturday night for their final regular season game of the year.
