The Kansas State Wildcats held off a furious rally from the TCU Horned Frogs to emerge victorious, 79-68.
Kansas State vs. TCU final score: Wildcats hold off Frogs, move into tie for 1st
Kansas State tops TCU 79-68 to move into a tie for first place in the Big 12.

The Wildcats appeared to put this game away early, taking a 42-27 halftime lead over a TCU squad that has only one conference win all season. However, the Frogs staged a rally in the second half, at one point cutting the deficit to just four points and even outscoring the Wildcats 41-37. In the end, though, the first half hole was too much to crawl out of, and Kansas State’s superior talent won out.
Kyan Anderson had a valiant effort for TCU, scoring 29 points and racking up five 3-pointers. On the Wildcats' side, the points were more spread out, with four players reaching double digits. Angel Rodriguez led the way with 21 points and 10 assists.
With the win, Kansas State moves into a tie with Kansas for first place in the Big 12. They lost both games to the Jayhawks, however, so they need both a win over Oklahoma State and a Kansas loss to Baylor to claim the regular season title. Both teams finish up the regular season on Saturday.
