Big Ten basketball standings 2013: Indiana controls its own destiny

The Indiana Hoosiers entered the week with a two-game lead over its Big Ten challengers.

The Indiana Hoosiers entered the week with a two-game lead in the Big Ten standings on the foursome of Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin. After a __-__ win/loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday night ____.

Next week, the Hoosiers will close their season against another conference power, the Michigan Wolverines, who are 11-5 in league play. Michigan will play the Purdue Boilermakers Wednesday night.

Elsewhere in Big Ten action, the Iowa Hawkeyes ____ the Illinois Fighting Illini __-__ on Monday to shake up the middle of the conference seeding.

Michigan State and Wisconsin will face off Thursday in another jostling atop the Big Ten. The Spartans close the regular season against Northwestern while the Badgers close against conference bottom-dweller Penn State:
