The Tar Heels are making a big time push to make a lot of people take them way too far in their brackets two weeks from now.
Georgetown at Villanova (7 p.m./ESPN2)
A Hoya win locks up at least a share of the Big East title and the No. 1 seed in Madison Square Garden next week.
Oklahoma State at Iowa State (7 p.m./ESPNU)
After so many gut-wrenching losses this season almost feels like the Cyclones deserve to win this one before it even tips off. There’s no question that they need to.
Michigan at Purdue (7 p.m./Big Ten Network)
The Wolverines must win to keep hope of a shared Big Ten title alive.
Richmond at VCU (8 p.m./CBS Sports Network)
VCU is also hoping to keep its conference title hopes alive, but they’ll also be seeking revenge against a Richmond team that beat them by 12 in overtime back in January.
Vanderbilt at Florida (8 p.m./MSG)
Florida’s going to win by a lot.
West Virginia at Oklahoma (9 p.m./ESPN2)
Oh thank God. I was worried for a second that we’d go a day without a West Virginia game being on national television. The Mountaineers are 13-16, and somehow they’ve played 35 games on CBS or one of the ESPN networks.
Connecticut at South Florida (9 p.m./ESPNU)
The Bulls can lock up not being the No. 14 seed in the Big East Tournament with a win. Yeah, pretty big night at the Sun Dome.
Minnesota at Nebraska (9 p.m./Big Ten Network)
