The SEC is arguably the weakest high-major conference this season.
SEC basketball standings 2013: Florida remains atop conference
Four games on Wednesday night shook up the standings a bit in the SEC.

Other than Florida, the league has been pretty mediocre from top to bottom. With only UF and Missouri looking like locks for the NCAA Tournament, every game from here on out will be crucial for the middle-of-the-road teams fighting for a chance to dance in March.
There were four SEC games on Wednesday night.
The No. 11 Florida Gators pummeled Vanderbilt at home, picking up the 66-40 win. UF is finally healthy, and they'll be the team to beat as the top seed in the SEC Tournament.
The Tennessee Volunteers, who are now 18-11 overall on the season, improved to 10-7 in conference play with a win over Auburn. The Volunteers sit squarely on the bubble entering the final regular season weekend of 2013.
LSU and Texas A&M met in College Station, and it was the Tigers that came out with the 68-57 victory. Despite the win, both of these teams will likely need to win the SEC Tournament if they hope to reach the NCAA Tournament.
In a battle of two teams that entered the day tied for last place, South Carolina defeated Mississippi State to improve to 4-13 against conference foes.

The Kentucky Wildcats head south to take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Thursday night. The Dawgs have been playing better basketball in recent weeks, and coach Mark Fox's team would like to do nothing more than spoil the defending champion's hope of gaining an at-large bid.
This game will also have serious implications on seeding for the SEC Tournament next week, especially with UK in the hunt for a first-round bye.
