The opening week of NCAA conference tournament betting rolls toward the weekend, with more leagues joining the festivities every day.
Friday the Southern Conference, the MAAC and the Sun Belt begin league tournament play.
On the Sun Belt Conference betting odds, top-seeded Middle Tennessee, riding a 16-game winning streak, is a heavy 2/7 favorite, followed on that board by Arkansas State at 5/1, South Alabama at 10/1, Arkansas-Little Rock, Florida International and Western Kentucky at 20/1 and “The Field,” consisting of Florida Atlantic, North Texas, UL-Lafayette, Troy and UL-Monroe, also at 20/1.
The Sun Belt Conference championship will be decided Monday night (7 pm ET, ESPN/ESPN2).
In Southern Conference tournament betting top-seeded Davidson, which has won 14 games in a row, tops the betting at odds of 1/3, followed by Charleston at 7/2 and Elon at 7/1, while “The Field” is getting 5/1.
The Southern Conference championship game will be played Monday night (7 pm ET, ESPN/ESPN2).
And on the MAAC tournament board top-seeded Niagara is a 5/2 favorite, followed by Iona and Loyola-Maryland at 11/4, Canisius at 7/1 and Rider and Manhattan at 8/1, while “The Field” is getting 5/1.
The MAAC title game will also be played Monday night (9 pm ET, ESPN).
Conference tournament play also continues Friday in places like the Missouri Valley, Atlantic Sun, the Horizon League and the WCC.
